May 2024: Tchaikovsky-From Dark To Light!
Our last concert for the 2023/24 season features two of Tchaikovsky’s works, Symphony No. 5 in E Minor, and one of the most difficult violin pieces in history, Violin Concerto in D Major, featuring Canadian-born soloist, Gregory Lewis.

Hello Strings Summer Camp
Directed by SSO conductor Helena Jung, Hello Strings is an amateur string ensemble providing beginner to intermediate level string players a chance to improve their ensemble skills while creating beautiful music.
We are excited to announce that, for the second year in a row, we will be running the Hello Strings Summer Camp! Join us for a week of music-filled fun for all ages from August 19-23 in the beautiful Comox Valley. This would be a great chance to develop your ensemble skill and technique skill.
